Craft Cluster is an initiative by National Institute of Fashion Technology to combine the craft sector of our country with the mainstream industry. It aims at sensitising the students to the traditional practices and the harsh working environments in which the crafts develop. A field trip is carried out where students visit the craft cluster and gather important information about the craft and the craftsmen and enrich themselves with practical knowledge. The craft is exhaustively documented with the minutest of details which tells the tales of the traditional craft.
