Bikaner, 2018
Enriching, Inspiring and Exotic don't even suffice the trip. It was a whole new experience in this rural yet royal set up. A craft cluster initiative by NIFT, we went to Bikaner for uplifting the artisans and to breathe new life into BIKANERI EMBROIDERY. Along with product development, I decided to capture the essence of this trip by creating a pictorial travelogue. The images were captured at the famous Narendra Bhawan Palace and Bhairon Vilas hotel, heritage properties turned into boutique hotels showcasing opulence and elegance of a bygone era. Also, a few portraits of the lovely artisans who handcrafted my products and shared their master tips and skill.
