The Svalbard Islands are located in the Arctic Ocean, halfway between Norway and the North Pole. Here, you will find untouched arctic wilderness and unique wildlife in a setting that is both rugged and fragile at the same time. Rich wildlife, arctic nature, and old mining towns are all found on the island which has a stark and eerie beauty thats all their own.
This small and colourful community is home to almost 3000 humans and a few thousand polar bears. This wondrous archipelago is a land of dramatic snow drowned peaks and glaciers of vast ice fields and forbidding icebergs. An elemental place where the seemingly endless Arctic night and perpetual sunlight summer carry a deeper magic.
